Hailed for its architecture as well as its entertainment, the Warner Theater is a French Rennaissance Art Deco style theater located in downtown Erie Pennsylvania. The venue, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was opened in 1931, and ted as a movie theater until 1976. With a 65 by 28 foot proscenium stage, flanked by gold and silver leaf, crushed velour and gold backed French Mirrors, the stunning interior provides a fitting home to the renowned Erie Philharmonic, and Lake Erie Ballet. The venue is also used to host many Broadway theatre and concert productions.
